Our Story
How it all
began
Jake and Milly first crossed paths as young teens at Harrogate Grammar School. Years later, they stumbled into each other at 3am on a night out and Jake took his shot to ask her out. She said yes, and after one drink five days later, that was that!
What followed was two years of weekly 5am drives from Harrogate to Manchester and back - Jake without complaint making sure distance was never really an excuse. In late 2020, Jake took a leap - accepting a seasonal golf position in Dubai. Seven months became something more, and by the summer of 2021, Milly had packed her bags and joined him.
With the addition of their dog Frank, Dubai quickly became home and they have never looked back (although they miss you all loads). They're getting married a month away from the ten year anniversary of that first drink. In Spain, in the sunshine, with the people they love most!
